Friends of Ignatius

Members of Friends are Ignatian trained spiritual directors in New Zealand, many offering the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius.

Membership is $50 per annum.

To become a member you will need to:

EITHER be a graduate of Te Wairua Mahi or the Arrupe programme in New Zealand (2015/2016) or be enrolled as a student of Te Wairua Mahi. (Complete the Te Wairua Mahi Graduate Registration below).

OR have completed formation in another Ignatian spiritual direction formation programme or be enrolled as a student in one, and would like to apply for membership. (Complete the Equivalent Programme Registration below).

By pursuing membership of Friends of Ignatius Aotearoa NZ I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the AECSD 2019 (Ignatian Spirituality NZ has gained recognition by AECSD as meeting its formation guidelines for Spiritual Directors in Te Wairua Mahi)

Equivalent Program Registration to submit your application for consideration.

Alternatively you could email your application to friendssecretary@ignatianspirituality.nz Please include a copy of your certificate/diploma/degree in Ignatian Spiritual Direction, and a recent copy of your Criminal Conviction History (NZ) freely supplied on request by the NZ Ministry of Justice.
